Hello, and a warm welcome to Swim School!

I founded Swim School back in 2004 after identifying the need for small, private children’s swimming lessons in the Burnley & Pendle area. Swim School grew very quickly and we now deliver a full and comprehensive swimming lesson programme for babies, toddlers and children.

When I’m not teaching swimming and completing never-ending paperwork, I like to spend my time watching motor sport (F1 in particular!) and going off snowboarding whenever I get the chance!

I live next door to Swim School with my partner Anthony, our children; George, Jessica and Jude plus our little doggy called Beryl.

Hi, my name’s Lynsey and I teach the younger generation at Swim School; from babies as young as eight weeks old, to toddlers and pre-school children.

Getting children introduced to water at a young age gives them a huge advantage and greatly increases their water confidence. I really enjoy creating new weekly themes for my classes and love seeing my little swimmers learn and progress through their swimming journey.

When I’m not teaching swimming, I’m spending time with my family, including my two daughters, who have both learnt to swim here at Swim School.

Hello, I’m Nathan, and I’m really excited to be joining the swim school team. I bring over five years of experience teaching swimming, along with eight years in the wider leisure industry, and I’m passionate about helping people build confidence and skills in the water. 

One of the most rewarding parts of my job is seeing children progress—watching them go from feeling nervous or unsure to becoming confident and happy in the pool. 

When I’m not at work, you’ll usually find me relaxing at home with my partner, Alaris (who I’m sure many of you already know), or out on long walks with our very energetic, some might say crazy, dog Rory.
